On March 8, 2012, the IFGH and the Irish Joint Consortium on Gender-Based Violence held an event at the Chester Beatty Library entitled “International Women’s Day 2012: Health and Social Consequences of Violence.”
Avni Amin from the Department of Reproductive Health and Research at the World Health Organization (WHO) and Alwiye Xuseyn from AkiDwA presented at the event.
