Irish Launch of the Lancet Countdown Report at NUI Galway, 3rd November 2017
On Friday 3rd November, NUI Galway will host the Irish launch of the Lancet Countdown 2017 report on climate change and global health, “Tracking progress on health and climate change: from 25 years of inaction to a global transformation for public health”.
This special event is organised by NUI Galway’s Ryan Institute, Centre for Health from Environment, and the College of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences, in addition to other partners.
The launch will take place in the O’Flaherty Theatre, in the main concourse at NUI Galway, and will feature special guest speaker Professor Paul Wilkinson, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
