Please find below a job description for the role of Public Health Project Coordinator with African Impact. This role would be ideal for any students looking to gain practical experience in the field of public or global health.

 

African Impact seeks Public Health Project Coordinator: Based in Moshi, Tanzania, full-time fixed-term position, starting as soon as possible – ideally on 1 July. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing the public health project in Moshi and coordinating volunteers under the guidance of the Project Manager. This involves working with local community partners and volunteers to achieve the objectives of the project, which covers health promotion and education, community outreach and other areas of public health. The successful candidate will be energetic, motivated and work well as part of a busy team, and will ideally have a background in health and/or public health. Knowledge of Swahili and some experience of working in a developing country will be considered an advantage but is not necessary.
