What to do about Health?
IFGH Meeting to Inform a Collective Written Submission on Health for the White Paper on International Development
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade are leading the development of a new White Paper on International Development. Through a public consultation and written submissions, this presents a unique opportunity for the Irish development community to highlight the challenges, operational approaches and ways of working that can shape future development policy, priorities and actions.
As the Irish Forum for Global Health, our mission as a network is to facilitate learning, connect, influence and engage individuals and institutions within the global health community and to highlight the key contributions made to global development and health, within Ireland and worldwide.
As such, we are committed to ensuring that health is high on the agenda of the new White Paper and that the priorities and actions are based on the views and experience of those working in global health.
We invite you to attend this meeting – ‘What to do about health?’ – to inform a collective written submission on Health in the White Paper from the Irish Forum for Global Health.
The meeting will take place in Oxfam, Portview House, Thorncastle Street, Ringsend on 19 July, from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, with complementary refreshments. To attend, please reply to this email, click the RSVP button, or write to info@globalhealth.ie.
We look forward to hearing your contributions.
