The 2018 Global Health Exchange Conference is less than a month away, and is set to bring together some of the world’s foremost experts to discuss “Health for All” in the era of the Sustainable Development Goals. Some of the highlights from the two-day conference include the official launch of the IFGH Strategy for 2018-2023 by Maureen O’Sullivan TD, a careers breakfast and team competition for global health students, and plenaries on such topics as inclusion, health partnerships to bridge the humanitarian-development nexus, and integrated and intersectoral programmes for sustainability.
Speakers will include Dr Michael J Ryan, Assistant Director General of Emergency Preparedness and Response at WHO Emergencies; Ben Heaven Taylor, CEO of Evidence Aid; and Lusungu Dzinkambani, Governance Program Manager at Oxfam Malawi. Detailed bios of our plenary speakers will be available on this page soon.
The conference will be covered by a team of Global Health Writes citizen journalists, who will write about the highlights of the conference for publication here on our website. The citizen journalists will receive a half day training on the morning of 6 November, and will enjoy free entry to the events. To apply to join them, send your CV and a one-page cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
