The European Charter for Health Equity has been opened for signatures until the end of 2011.
The European Charter for Health Equity reaffirms the commitment to the values of wellbeing, solidarity, social justice, promotion of fundamental human rights and gender equity. Furthermore, it reaffirms the commitment to the principle enunciated in the constitution of the WHO that the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being.
